Genevieve converted to the faith as a young adult, and has written and spoken extensively on the topic of authentic femininity. Always seeking to combine theological realities with the mundane details of everyday life, she founded a quarterly journal in 1992 which for 12 years was dedicated to eradicating stereotypes in favour of the unfathomable riches that the Church offers to women. She has appeared numerous times on various EWTN shows, and is a frequent guest on Relevant Radio. She has been widely published in periodicals including Homiletic and Pastoral Review, Our Sunday Visitor, Catholic World Report, and Inside the Vatican, and in 2008 she was asked to address the participants of a Vatican congress honouring the 20th anniversary of Mulieris Dignitatem. Subsequently, she was asked by the Daughters of Saint Paul to compile meditations for a 25th anniversary edition of that Apostolic Letter, and her column,
“The Feminine Genius,” has been carried in the Fall River Anchor since 2009.

Genevieve has been married for 35 years and is the mother of five children, which has given her an appreciation of human nature and the challenge of living holiness in the present age. Building a home allowed her the opportunity to apply Saint John Paul II’s “catechesis on human love” in a concrete way, and it is this truth that she wishes to make accessible to women of all ages, in all vocations. Since women are essential to fostering a culture of life and, like the Blessed Mother, are called to create bridges to fatherhood, the importance of the feminine vocation cannot be overestimated at this critical time.
